Thank you Darlin .. yep she is growing like a weed

You should see her when she is outside playing with her sisters .. she thinks she is as old as they are and can do what they do

Let's just say there are a lot of tears because mommy is mean and won't let her run as she pleases *L*

LOL. Oh, yes, indeedy, you're gonna have your hands full for the longest time. I have 3 sisters and we wagged our poor, little, baby sister around with us everywhere in the summer. Its truly a miracle that she survived and is a reasonably sane woman today. LOL

Is your sheltie hyper or laid back? I am thinking of getting a dog again, after many years with just a cat.

What I need is a nice toy or miniature hound dog...blue tick or red bone. You know, the ones that you see just barely moving. I know there is not such a toy dog, though. LOL

I never have before, but I am getting a little nervous when home alone overnight, even though I do have my arms. I need a good natured watch dog.

LOL! Well, I don't want to shoot them. I like them, I just want them to be happy with what I give them and leave the bird food alone.

Believe me, there ain't no way to outsmart a determined squirrel except with these spring loaded ones.

Believe me, I spent four years trying many homemade contraptions...and even fox pee, once. Now that is a story in itself. LOL

You'd think the stupid squirrels would prefer the corn and peanuts to bird seed. Obviously, they're not reading the label on the bags that say BIRD SEED.

Shelties are really good dogs .. are very easy to train and are very loyal to their owners .. but yes they do like to run outside and boy can they run really fast. *L*

Kelli is VERY protective of the kids and watches over them like a hawk

Shelties also are not found of strangers ... Kelli doesn't attack anyone .. but she will warn you to back off *L*

Wonder what my dad does. He and my stepmom have probably a couple of dozen birdfeeders in the yard and the squirrels don't seem to bother them. They do try to get in one of the birdhouses. Thay also keep a five gallon bucket in the garage full of peanuts. Maybe that helps.

There is a bird feeder that will zap the squirrels when they try to steal the bird food

Let them eat cake.

Good thinking! Heck, bake a whole bunch of those cakes and we might take care of a lot of "problem areas."
