The in class training goes into August...there is 8 weeks of it, so I will have 6 more weeks (well, 3 days of the week anyway) in Fayetteville. I'm in the office 2 days a week. The actual training period is 5-6 months. then I have to go before a panel to prove I learned what I was supposed to. After being approved by the panel, I am officially out of training and get a $2000 a year pay raise.
Well I'm losing the computer again .. to Dana this time
So I'll pop back later
BTW .. I'm watching All My Children .. been years since I've watched it .. doesn't look like much of the stories have changed .. just the faces
Camping is a blast with kids, and all you need is a tent. You don't have to worry when they spill things either. Oh, that's right. Mo doesn't do camping.

I can't even bake a cake .. I would be totally lost in the mountains of Virgina .. *L*
Afternoon Folks. Been so very busy.
Spent yesterday with my old friend The Judge. He is a dear. We watched "Band of Brothers." Whew. Was a real marathon but wonderful. He was really into it and was a bit obnoxious (sorry Sweetie) to others who dropped by to 'pay their respects.' LOL. He brooked NO interruptions. Once he discovered the pause button, I got wonderful history lessons. YEA. We actually started this session on Saturday, broke for overnight, resumed Sunday morning. LOL. It was a real trip.
My gift was a 'hit,' I suppose. :)
Belated, but Happy Father's Day to all the board Dads. :)
RINGY!!!
I bought the "Band of Brothers" DVD set for my hubby's Bday - it had come out the week before his Bday. We had watched the series when it was on HBO, but still enjoy watching various episodes occasionally.
Oh those aren't eating Cherries..they are just the decorative kind. I wish they were the eating kind..;)
See's chocolate, please? Or........if you don't have that, anything will do. LOL...who's picky when it comes to candy...
You use a notebook, don't you? I'm about to travel so I bought a notebook but the touchpad is driving me berserk. I wondered what other people use. I found out that there are teeny tiny mouses for laptops but I don't think the human hand would like being cramped.
Hey Sweetie. Yes, the entire 10 plus hours, ROCK. LOL. We just enjoyed it and ourselves. :)
That sounds like a great Father's Day. Mr Too Young and I watched the whole series over a couple of days and nights, too, over Thanksgiving break, 2002. We watched a zillion rented DVDs... I think he only took me out to the movies in a theater three times.
Sounds cozy. :)
Well, back to class. I will be really glad when this day is over. I can't take many more pictures of abused children. Hard to believe the kinds of injuries parents can inflict on their own children. Appaling!
One of the advantages to watching rented DVD's over going to the theatre is that you don't have to smuggle in your wine. You can guzzle it right there in the comfort of your own home!
I just suffer along with the touchpad while on the go, but at home or in a hotel room, I plug in a full sized mouse. Any standard mouse will work on a notebook if you have room to roll it around.

Thhere's an eating kind?

It has taken years for the tree to forgive me. I don't think that it has forgotten, however.
Good afternoon Precious. Smooch. :)
See you guys later. Going to find a nap. :)
Afternoon, Swervie. How's life?
