He really tries to be nice to her now, I guess, but she has a long memory. LOL. She hates him. Actually hates him.
Molly takes every opportunity to make his life miserable. Sometimes when she walks past the room he stays in when he's here, she'll growl. ROFLMBO. We keep the door closed because Bess isn't sure what Molly might do if she could gain access to that room. :)

Ringy, you are the ultimate southern woman. I just love you, really.

I suppose you are already in the Ya Ya Sisterhood?

Another thing, never, ever get drunk at a Company party

Yes, I do know that, for sure. I never have, but have witnessed some pretty pitiful situations at Christmas parties. What are these people thinking when they upchuck into their bosses lap? LOL

If we live so long, maybe my friends and I will be inducted. LOL.

I saw that movie and liked it. I thought it was different, but didn't really identify with it, except for the birthday party with the dixieland band. THAT is fun. :)

The only movie I've seen in the last few years I could identify with was the Runaway Bride. LOL.

I saw the Jack Nicholson movie Something's Gotta Give and found myself identifying with the Diane Keaton character. I should just shoot myself now.

Wear a burkha. Reek of dynamite.

You'll have no problems with people getting too touchie-feelie.

Trust me...

Well, I have been trying to induct the northern women here into the southern Ya Ya Sisterhood. All they have to do is to take a blood oath and wear a silly hat....but they have been resistant. LOL

Hmm... I'll be taking pictures of the Governor all day Saturday at the Dublin Dr Pepper birthday party. Now I see an invitation from him to the unveiling of the new Texas quarter (coin) Thursday morning. I think I ought to go get pictures there, too.

Well, they aren't thinking about promotions, that's for sure. :) I'm sure many might disagree with that.

You'll be wonderful. You can talk to anyone.

About those heels, one inch pumps are very acceptable and some are quite comfortable and if you find some that are cut low enough to show the V between your big toe and second toe, they will be considered quite sexy and classy. Plus, you will be comfortable.

Remember, do not twitch, shuffle, pull at your clothes or adjust yourself in anyway, or fidget. Get all that straightened out at home and get comfortable sitting, standing, walking, maybe dancing in whatever it is you plan to wear. Do a dress rehersal the days before your event and remember to break your shoes in. Then, you'll be self confident, won't be or look awkward, etc.

I know you know all this but we all need reminders and I love this stuff. Thanks for asking and you report back to Mother after the prom, you hear? LOL.

I would LOVE to have Jess. If she is anything like her Mom, she is a little bit of heaven.

LOL...I don't mind hugging or kissing family and good friends. But, southern women were not raised (reared is correct, actually) to shake hands with anyone. But with strangers, we just nod and smile. I was quite shocked when I went on a job interview here in yankeeland many years ago and the employer extended his hand. I thought 'oh no, is he going to kiss my hand?'.
