And never forget that even southern women cannot bake good cakes.
Why waste time on cakes when there's apples, peaches, and blackberries to be made into cobbler?

AP Strange News | 16 Apr 2004 | Associated Press
"OLYMPIA, Wash. - A bank robber wearing a wetsuit under his clothes tried to make a scuba-diving getaway but was tackled by police before he reached the water, authorities say.
Police subdued the man Thursday on the shore of Budd Inlet after a car chase, a crash and a sweaty quarter-mile dash through the woods, during which he tried to sprint into the water while lugging his diving gear and a backpack filled with the stolen cash, Sgt. Ray Holmes said.
Charles E. Coma, 35, was jailed on suspicion of robbery."
Genius.

I beg to differ with you. I come from a long line of excellent cake bakers and my pineapple upside cake is second to none since Grandma passed away. Ooops... I should have said SOME southern women cannot bake good cakes. And that would be me.

You didn't get that windstorm? Wow.. we had 59mph winds most of the night here.
One day we had 60mph gusts from the north, and that night it shifted to the south and was bad all night with the steady 59mph winds.
We also had a mini tornado just a short ways away from us. We lost six old Banyon trees, some fences down and some roofs damaged. It was after that the the cold front came in.. It's nice now tho..

We go home on the fourth of May. Not long..sigh..but I love it there too.
It will be good to see alllll the kids..
Oh by the way, I haven't heard for sure, but I think my daughter is losing the baby. At her age I don't feel too bad about it. Whatever will be, will be....
