We should find out soon enough now that the IRS subpoenaed/confiscated all of the remaining Bonds drug tests last year for THG.

Barry Bonds did not break the major league record for home runs. That's 755 (Hank Aaron). He's not about to break the National League record for home runs. That's 733 (also Aaron). He's not even about to break the Giants' franchise record for home runs. That's 644 (fellow named Willie Mays).

I mean, I'm sorry, but I just can't get that excited about somebody grabbing the No. 3 spot on any list.

A hollow record in my opinion.

If he's been juicing himself lo these many years, how come he hasn't "shrunk" like Giombi and others? He looks as filled out and solid as last year.

Did you see where Hank Aaron said he wouldn't make any effort to go watch Bonds if he breaks his record? What do think Hank knows?

The picture of Bonds presents a rather stark contrast to the picture of Hank Aaron circling the bases for #715. It would be a baseball tragedy for Mr. Steroid to pass the record of Mr. Class.

He gets a torch from Willie Mays for now, until the THG tests come back..

Bonds isn't going to win a World Series, either.

This gets a big yawn from me.

Bonds is about 10-15 pounds lighter, not as much as Giambi.

Aaron is a gentleman who struggled hard to be accepted as a person while playing the game. I don't blame him for ignoring the "achievements" of a spoiled, inattentive and rude baseball player.

Barry is the only player other than Ruth with an over .800 slugging percentage for one season.
