Update on my dad, and a thank you to all who are keeping him in their prayers. After a battery of tests, and still more being done today, the doctor came in last evening and told us the CAT scan showed a possible bloodclot in his stomach.
The doctor thinks possibly, part of it broke off and went to his lung, which would explain the episode he had Sunday morning (severe chest pains, clamminess, etc.) They gave him a shot in the stomach last night to help disolve the clot. He had surgery to repair aneurism several years ago, and we are suspecting it may stem from that.
If anyone has more information on this type of thing (pulmonary embollism), please post a reply to me.
Thanks again everyone.
Lisa

Prayers for your dad.
With prompt medical care, people do survive aneurisms. One fellow we know has never forgotten the scare it gave him - he had gone to his doctor for another reason. Call that lucky....

You are in this prayer tonight, a prayer of love and healing for your father. Before he was your father, he was God's child - God holds him tonight, as his own beloved child.
