I thought the episode was gonna be titled "The Passion of the Easter Bunny". I love South Park.
If the Road Warrior says it ...it must be true.

I'm a middle aged housewife who normally doesn't fit into the demographic that this show usually goes for, but I am TiVO'ing it tonight for watching after the kids are asleep! I would never admit it to my suburban friends, though.

SOUTH PARK PING!
The initial ping list was created by copying member names from past South Park threads.
Please ping me with any South Park related articles. Thank you!
If you want on or off this ping list, please FReepmail me.
This is expected to be a low to medium volume ping list.

Eventually, I will be turning this ping list over to someone else. Until then, see you next time. :)

I've longed for them to do an episode where Stan wonders why Jesus doesn't come to Church on Easter, and then goes to Kyle's house and finds him celebrating Passover with Braslofsky's by making bottles of Gelfite fish and boxes of manna materialize on the table. When asked why he doesn't go to church on Easter Sunday, Jesus just replies "For some reason, I always wake up feeling half-dead".

Sub-par episode last night. I didn't find any of it particularly offending, it just wasn't very funny. Cartman doing the Hitler bit was a re-hash, and overall it didn't really work. Oh well, there's always next week!
To: BillyJack
I'm afraid after viewing last night's episode I will never be able to look at Mel Gibson the same way again. They really ripped on him.
To: BillyJack
I just didn't think it was funny overall. I'm not a particularly religious person in the least, so it didn't really offend me. It just wasn't funny. It had a couple of humorous lines, but that was about it.
I saw what they were going for at the end- about remembering Jesus's life instead of focusing souly on his death- but I thought they could have done it in a more humorous way. The one where they did the stations of the cross ("I. Don't. Know. You.") was very funny.
