Well I was just thinking about the White House full court press rather than just letting this story drop. I think they want to let it be known that they will fight and I think the want to respond to that small segment of voters playing attention at this point in the election cycle.
It does appear from the tracking polls that whatever bump the Clarke grandstand had for Kerry is short lived. But it of course worries me that the Dims are saving some kind of Oct. surprise whether it is true or just a lie.

I'm up, but I got about six hours of shuteye after falling asleep on the couch.
I'm more and more troubled by the antics of the pompous twit, Clarke. He better have a large jar of Vaseline at hand for the ram that is coming. He ain't seen (felt) nothin' yet!

What am I still doing up!?! I told myself I was going to bed earlier tonight. I probably won't watch the Sunday shows because I will be sleeping. I don't think Kerry is going to get much out of this Clarke thing. I'm just wondering what else the Dems have got in store. It could have an accumulative effect if they keep this up until November. The media is going all out to attack President Bush. They don't even try to pretend they are objective anymore. I caught Rather's program (some other guy filling in for him) Thursday(?). The first 15 minutes were dedicated to attacking President Bush. One of the later stories was how some old couple had their home foreclosed because they owed $120 to their HOA. I thought they were going to blame that on President Bush too. Well I better go to bed now. I've got to give my cat antibiotics (late doing this). He had a completely blocked urinary tract on Tuesday. Wednesday I took him to the vets to have surgery--they did a Lorena Bobbitt to him! Poor cat. No front claws, balls, and now no pee dab. Hopefully he's got some more lives in him--he's only 4.

The media is stupid.
The media + the active Democratic Party members = 4% of the population, tops.
Their nonsense about Richard Clarke amounts to zip for 96% of America.
At this rate Bush will win with 65% of the vote in November. Even then the liberal Democrats won't get it.

I just got up. Does that qualify? Three dogs and one will play a role in the re-election of Mr. Bush. Betsy, a Springer Spaniel, has deicided that I don't really need anymore than 4-5 hours of sleep, if that, and if this continues into the summer I'm going to have to hire more people to keep projects going--I'm self-employed (insane) and I won't be able to keep up at this pace.

Fell asleep watching tv. Enjoying an ice cold glass of milk and pie.
It was an interesting week. The highlight for me was seeing Yassin get blown away :-)

Still up. I promised myself I'd finish some work and I spent my day freeping and watching tv and not feeling well, so I didn't start my work until late. I thought I'd check in one last time before I took out the ole contacts. (this FR is addicting, isn't it?)
I too stopped watching the Sunday shows. Everything I need to know, I learn on FR.

Good Morning All-
Just watched the first DVD of the WORLD AT WAR documentary series from the 1970's. Loved it years ago and it's just as good now in 2004.
Lots planned for later Sunday, so I'm hittin' the rack. Good night.

yep. Me and my insomnia are old friends. 15-30 minute nap and I'm up for a while. When I can get to sleep good I sleep well and for a full 8. Kind of hit and miss with it though.

More interesting than usual???
These Sunday morning shows are just talking suits reciting their pre-prepared talking points, from which they don't stray. Their is nothing interesting about it. The moderators don't have the time or inclination to ask follow-up questions. Even if they did, it wouldn't matter. They would just get a mindless recitation of the affor-mentioned talking points. Its a colossal waste of time.
