We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Richard Clarke testified before the 9/11 Committee yesterday and said two things of interest: (1) President Bush scaled back the effort to eliminate Al Qa'eda after he took over on January 20, 2001; and (2)that there was never any want of resources to battle terrorism under the UOx42 Administration.
Not to belabor the point, but one would have to set aside certain realities to accept that situation. UOx42 only shot missiles into tents, and only did it when he was caught with his pants down--literally. As stated yesterday, the country was not focused on terrorism as a main issue from January 20, 2001 till September 11, 2001, at 8:47 AM EST. But look at the response of this President: on September 13, 2001, the leader of Al Qa'eda remarked that Americans were hiding in their "caves". Who, today, is quite literally hiding in a cave?
But was is most interesting, is Clarke is inconsistent. His book condemns President Bush, yet there was a press briefing in August 2002 that praised the President's efforts.
Elsewhere, Hamas states that any Israeli anywhere in "occupied Palestine" (Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank) is subject to attack, and attacks will continue until Palestine is liberated.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Did you get any reply from your contact of eBay? Just curious. I will not find out the results, per se, just that they have completed their investigation. I haven't received that notice yet.

Many people will not be able to get on to FR the regular way..
I emailed my list of about 20 freepers with the IP number which can log you on until the "problem" is corrected.
If any here have other FReeper email addresses, do sent this out to them..better that they get duplicates than none.
I have e-mailed to Iowa granny, molly, peach, lysie, neets, prairie, ms. behavin, jemaian from this thread & other's ..

Thank you, Dolly, for helping me get back into FR through a back door since it still doesn't work the "regular" way for me. LOL That's techno speak for me!
Amazing how little breaking news seems to have happened.
Question: If Freepers can't log in, does breaking news still happen?

Thanks to Tat for getting me the "secret formula"... I had the site already opened from an earlier link via Yahoo which I cannot log onto( for posting) for some reason, but I was able to read the link.

Okay. I'm curious how it will resolve. I deal with ebay at times and would like to know what their procedure for protection is.
Lysie, the play is over and done and it was well done. I just had reason to run up to the office and on the way I was stopped by an admiring fan. They recited back to me the lesson and so I know it was communicated to at least one person. The kids are all proud of their work. I am too. No major glitches, only tiny bobbles, occurred at all. I'm through for at least two years now.

Here is the link to one of the
FR BackUp Sites.I have it bookmarked. Some of us were in the chat room....you might have to download the Yahoo chat program.
There is another backup site that must be on my other computer. I will try to remember to post it too.

Greetings all. We're almost finished, and it looks like we probably will get better than "Satisfactory" for this inspection. We'll know the score for sure tomorrow.
I probably need prayers again. Someone (I don't know who) called and left a threatening message on my voice mail. DoD police are investigating, since that's the jurisdiction I was in when I received the call. They are taking it seriously. Whoever it was had plenty of information about me. That's all I can say.

Yes, add to favorites. Exactly. I have a folder labeled "Free Republic" that I have a few bookmarked or favorite links in.
I recently discovered that when I bookmark I can change the name of the document right when I'm adding the bookmark. For some reason I was always saving it with the title that wanted to come up and then re-naming it later. Duh.

The blind leading the blind here.. but I have always considered them the same. In INTERNET explorer I simply add it to a favorite.. my problem is that I have thousands.. and many are "running loose" and many are in various folders.
My computer experience by in large is self taught (nuf said) and hit & miss..
