Clarke's Gets A Standing "O" from Peanut Gallery

I wonder if those present at todays 911 hearing who applauded Clarke's admission that his 2001 'background briefing' to the press was "political", realized what they were applauding?
Does it not then follow that his recent celebrity is also political?

The only hope we have is talk radio and fox news, other than that it's hard to get the truth out, the mainstreamers have an agenda that transends patriotism--hard to believe but true.

The exquisite orchestration screams Clinton. In one fell swoop, Clinton's legacy gets a boost, and Bush takes a big hit. Make no mistake - this one hurts.

Make no mistake - this one hurts.I hope you're wrong! ;) I think Clarke may have been too over the top, even for Democrats. You'd have to be drinking the Clinton kool-aid pretty hard to believe that Clinton's No. 1 priority was fighting terrorism.

It doesn't have to stick in a big way. A 2% shift is enough to alter a close election.

This Commission has degenerated into a partisan circus. The whole thing is disgusting. Yup. And, a complete waste of time. This morning Tenet invited members of the "commission" to spend the day with him and actually see what they do and the changes that have been implemented in intelligence gathering and intelligence sharing.
He told the commission that this would be a good way for them to formulate any suggestions for future improvements.
Not one member said "yes...that's a great idea".
A circus indeed---with no regard for America's security.

Let's face it the biggest problem the republicans will have getting re-elected is not having to run on what we have done but trying to dispell the "spin" and "lies" the dem-rats will put out 90 days before the election. There will be so much crap out there that is not proven we will be lucky to disprove it all. That will become our biggest problem.

They applauded the very guy who admitted to failing them. Clarke must've felt their pain. Did he bite his lower lip?
To: The Raven
He also has a book that he's trying to peddle.

Clarke's apology was a master stroke. It matters what the commission finds, but it matters even more what the "commission of public opinion" finds. There is a hunger for accountability, and liberal media have anointed the
anti-Bush 9/11 families as the authentic voices, just as years ago NOW was anointed as the authentic voice of women.
The apology emphasized to that audience that the government admits culpability. The fact of it happening, at the moment it happened - i.e. on Bush's watch. Never mind 8 years of ineptitude that opened the door to it.

You have made four powerful statements, all worth repeating.
Thanks for the ping, G.
1. Democrats would rather believe a lie rather than the truth, even if embracing a lie jeopardizes the security of this country.
2. Democrats like to spread lies, apparently because they derive great enjoyment from spreading lies.
3. Some Democrats suffer from a subtle form of demonic possession, which would explain why they are so eager to lie and to believe in lies. Tom Daschle and Richard Ben-Veniste have facial expressions which indicate to me that they are suffering from a subtle form of possession.
4. Most Democrats embrace lies because to embrace the truth would force them to confront their "sin nature."

Today is another sorry display of what's wrong with our country. Instead of this commission focusing on why we did nothing about the eight previous warnings of flying planes into buildings we have to listen to each side defend their participants. Clarke was right---he failed all of us! If anyone should of been jumping up and down about planes flying into buildings it should of been him. Instead we hear these famous words:
I knew what he wanted me to come back and say.
Nobody asked me.
When you work for the President you only say the positive.
Don't shoot for the moon--just do the minimum.
What a POS!!

I hate Democrats. I hate them and I used to feel bad about it but now I think it is the RIGHT thing to do.

Those few of the 9/11 families that are anti-Bush have been singled out for all the attention.

While they are rehashing the past with this Dick idiot traitor peddling his book Clarke, the Al Qaeda are still plotting against us. We need to stop looking back and look forward, stop wasting our administration and intelligence agencies time with this crap.
The following pictures are posted on Jihad websites almost every week showing what they want to do to us next.

Yes. They're also the ones who believe they have veto power over 9/11-related images that may appear in campaign advertisements, and who believe that they have the final authority to oversee all redevelopment plans for the WTC site in Lower Manhattan.
There's a reason why you have all these folks from New York City in this group, while you hardly hear anything from the families of those who lost their lives at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania . . . this city is filled with people who are malcontents by nature, and they adopt these "causes" to justify their existence.

Puhleaze. The pathetic dems. are counting on Clarke to take W. down, and Kerry to carry them to victory. It's the biggest farce yet foisted on us. Clarke is doing nothing but shooting himself in the foot with his performance. We'll soon see the result when he's pouring warm p*ss outta his boots. As for Kerry, he may talk big now, but that jock strap he keeps bragging about is nothing but a weegee opportunity for the Republicans in the near future. They've already seen the best it's going to get for them.

Hatred is what they have EARNED.
They are out to destroy this country.
They're the enemy within.
We're not crackpots.
They are dangerous,
and Kerry is deadly dangerous.
