I'm back..

I can't stay long I have to go to work...the vet visit went well...they drew blood from Sadie to check to see if it is pancreatitis($400 to the last vet and they didn't do this one visit). Sadie may need to have a ultra sound if this test comes back postive.

Meriwether Lewis's line is well documented. That family arrived fairly early in Virginia, and any good family history library is likely to have a Lewis Family history because of the strong interest ..

(Genealogy library collections usually have state by state sections, family name sections, a general subject section, and of course, a strong local section.)

There was another well-known Lewis family that settled in the Shenandoah Valley at a later date.

THAT is not to be confused with our Lewis family.

I will copy my Lewis stuff and send it to you...might take a couple of weeks or so, tho....
