I have not yet heard about Kerry's shoulder surgery. I will keep my eyes and ears open for it though. I note that he went snowboarding today, not skiing, maybe he does have a bum shoulder. On the other hand, the article I posted also said he picked up darts and/or a dart board. Darts? That is a pub game...can't picture Kerry and T. in a pub playing darts and drinking Guiness...

Among the 60-year-old senator's recreational plans: biking, snowboarding and skiing.

Did you see the story about Pepe and daughter Vanessa going shopping in Boston? He bought a jockstrap. He is such a human dynamo.

Uh,,, NO, I missed that one! Ewwww. What is it with these libs and buying unmentionables with their daughters? Remember clinton, chelz and the thongs? Of course you do, ewwww again.

And why would Kerry buy a jockstrap anyway, it's not like he's got anything to put in one.

More on Kerry's vacation in Idaho:

.... He is there only with his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, who along with her late husband, Sen. John Heinz, had imported the $4.9 million home from England.

The traveling press corps staying nearby is on the lookout for anything to say or photograph - and Kerry may well oblige with some scenes of vigorous activity. His campaign has, after all, been well-served by testosterone-laden images of Kerry hunting, riding a motorcycle, and playing hockey. Ketchum, Idaho, also raises the memory of macho icon Ernest Hemingway, who had his last home there. Christian Science Monitor.

Mr. M tells me McAwful just said not a single private sector job was created anywhere in the U.S. last month. Anyone else find that just a little hard to believe? He also said Clinton-Gore created 22 million new jobs in 8 years, and Bush has destroyed 3 million jobs in 3 years. Sure.

He bought a jockstrap.

Is that supposed to appeal to us? I tell you, images and visions of Kerry aren't appetizing. He conjures up the strangest things:

Tinfoil time here. It just hit me, Kerry's vacation is for some more work to be done on his face or something. Like more Botox? Or surgery??? Ha.

It's not just you Honey. We're all thinking the same thing.

Of all the surgerys he could elect to have,, the one he needs mose severely,,, a Lobotomy, will go undone. Ego, you know.

That's what I'm thinking,,, shoulder surgery,,, no noticeable bandage or scar that we'd be able to see. Although, he's only supposed to be "vacationing" for a week or less and that's not long enough to heal from a face lift is it?

He really should go for a lobotomy but would we be able to detect a difference?

I wasn't listening too closely to McAwful but what I did hear were outrageous falsehoods as usual. What universe are these cretins from?

I thought I'd pop into this thread and say Lá feile Padraig.

I KNOW I'm a day late! *L*

But who expected a bona fides Irish girl to be posting on the internet on St. Patrick's day! ;-)

If I were his Naomi Wolfe, I would say, baby it is time for some dental work...that gnarly tooth has to be repaired so that you can smile more often. But wait, he can't smile, because of his botox and/or facelift.

Well, I hated this article save for this part...

"The image-conscious candidate and his aides prevailed upon reporters and photographers to let him have a first run down the mountain solo, except for two agents and Marvin Nicholson, his omnipresent right-hand man.

His next trip down, a reporter and a camera crew were allowed to follow along on skis — just in time to see Mr. Kerry taken out by one of the Secret Service men, who had inadvertently moved into his path, sending him into the snow.

When asked about the mishap a moment later, he said sharply, "I don't fall down," then used an expletive to describe the agent who "knocked me over."

From the NY Times, yuck, a Weary Kerry Gets Away From It All
