Miami got Boston yesterday for a 5th round draft pick...now that's a deal (if this guy can keep his nose clean).

Lets start a pool on how long it takes for Owens and McNabb to start pointing the finger at each other:
McNabb: "Owens is dropping a lot of passes, like he did in San Francisco."
Owens: "McNabb throws behind me, like he does every receiver he ever had."
Oh yes, sports fans. This is going to be fun.

Just proves if you apply the proper socialist democratic crap, whine, moan, groan, complain, yell discrimination, threaten to sue, you get what you want. Just ask Spain.

As a Chargers fan, I can only tell the Dolphins fans: good luck with this guy. Nothing but a headache.

Take it from San Diego sports fans; Boston is a steroid monster. If he is ever drug tested, you might have to call in a HAZMAT crew.

Reportedly, we're giving the 5th rounder to Baltimore and a player (probably Brandon Whiting) to San Fran. I wasn't on board with this at first, but in mulling it over, I'm in support of it. Owens isn't a bad guy like Randy Moss or David Boston. You can't question his desire and effort or his will to win.
He could be that go to guy that The Magnificent Number Five has needed to get him over the top.
Now if we can only shore up that CB position, I don't want to go into next year with Lito Shepard, Sheldon Brown and Roderick Hood as my trio of corners.
(BTW- While I agree this is breaking news, betcha the sidebar mod doesn't)

The Ravens will move Ray Lewis to Free Safety for a game against the Eagles. Owens will come up with a mysterious game-time injury that will keep him off the field.

I will now root for someone to just take Owens head off his body.

Maybe not a bad guy, but he's a classic me-first player who will freak out and blame everyone if he's got getting his 9 catches and 120 yards per game. I must say, though, that I do admire his willingness to go over the middle and take the big hits. That's something you'll never see out of Moss.

Owens isn't a bad guy like Randy Moss or David Boston No, he is a bad guy like Keshawn Johnson. He drops a lot of balls, whines when he feels he doesn't get enough balls thrown his way, is a step slow and talks too much.

So what do the jilted Ravens get out of it? Hopefully, they got to keep their second-round choice and get Philly's also for their time and inconvenience.

No matter what you think of Owens, it is one more nail in the coffin for the 49ers. The are going to be a sub par team for years to come. I would guess Mariucci, at the Lions, will win more games than the Niners.

The Dolphins need someone to "shake things up."
I could care less if he is trouble or a roid monster. All I care about is if he can catch passes and help them win games.
