Maybe it's just the style? Also the big eyes are more expressive. Ever noticed that their eyebrows float on top of their hair?

Heh, no explanation yet for why Kenshin's the only person around with red hair and blue eyes. Sometimes purple eyes. If they turn yellow, it's really really bad.

In most anime I've seen, nobody looks Japanese at all and they have green or purple hair. RK is downright dowdy, compared.

Hi all - Back from the interview.... I think it went all right.... -was a little icy at first but warmed up and ended well.

They have others to interview next week, so I will not know anything soon.

Then went and bought flowers..... Sonya and I are going to play with them today and see if we can make bouquets and a thingy for her hair.

I hadn't noticed the eyebrow thing--I'll keep an eye out for that. I had noticed the green hair. Here is how the characters from Battle of the Planets are drawn. The girl, Princess, has green hair. None of the characters look particularly "Japanese" to me, although that may be a limitation in my concept of "Japanese".
