No, not a V-rod. I'll have to ask. It's one of the bigger framed ones.

BTW, after I logged off last night the Quiznos commercial came on. I think I'm still waiting for them to wear on me :) They kind of remind me of Brak from Space Ghost so I keep expecting them to say something Brak would say, but they don't!

Hi W!!! HI ALL!!!

I hope everyone is doing okay. Its gonna take me a bit to catch up on everyone. W, thanks for the M&C ping ehehehehhe!! I have been so immersed in it of late, that I tend to forget everything else. mrsderby, have you had a chance to pick up a copy of the M&C? I suggest reading in order, and just get through M&C and not worry about all the nautical jargon. Its really not important for the FIRST time around. when you read into the others and go back, THEN it starts to make sense, but for newcomers, its the characters that count.

This is gonna sound awful, but every now and again, i keep hoping hubby will get sent out of town (just for a day or two) so I can stay up as late as I want. I swear he is SUCH a mother hen to me..and I am a profligate. That way I can spend more time chatting with y'all.

The Stargate series picks up where the movie leaves off, so same characters, same backstory, but heads off in a typical TV series direction.

Kinda sounds like what happened with V :) Is the TV series worth watching?

Okay, to me, this is the best new Harley to be had.

Of course, different people want different bikes. But, to me, that is the choicest Harley on the market right now.

If I were actually going to buy one, I would probably buy this one.

and trick it out myself. The first one just comes with all the high performance stuff. They are the same bike on the same frame. I would just probably go for the basic one and add my own upgrades. Maybe. That first bike is one hot little scooter though! [goosebumps]

no... no... NO...

There are family cars that have sporty extras... which is... a family car. Then there are genuine touring sports cars. Think C5. Think 05 Mustang. Think... [ohhhh, eyes rolling back in head] German. [pant pant] Dare I say... Porsche?

I get a little hot and sticky over this one... but it's still a little out of my price range:

Hi Alkhin!!! Good to see you! I have put down M&C for the moment but intend to get right back into it soon. I've enjoyed those I've read so far of course. :-)

Everything going well? Still enjoying the new house?

You'll have to take lots of pictures of Autumn's birthday and share 'em with us!

lol...don't worry, I will! She won't let me forget! She got a new outfit (these cute little green and purple flower print capri's) just for her birthday, and she's been dying to have someone take pictures of her wearing it.

lol...I swear, I think she's already growing up too fast. Tonight, my friend Tim came over for some pizza. Autumn knew about this since yesterday, and has been excited about it ever since, since she absolutely adores Tim. Well, today at about 4pm she was playing at the table, when all of a sudden, she jumps up, shreiks, and screams, "OH NO!! I have to take a bath and get ready for when Uncle Tim comes over tonight!"

Starts running through the house, upstairs, into her dresser, throwing out clothes..."Gotta find a new outfit! Gotta take a bath and smell nice!"

Too funny, yet somewhat depressing at the same time. My little porkchop is growing up *snif* :-(

I dont' like the wheels much.

This reminds me that the bike at work has solid (no spokes) wheels. If that means anything.

300winmag, "usually feel the opposite of most testers" lol. I'm in the same boat.

The knife price illustration was interesting, although I find some people will spend a lot of bucks for a knife with a certain name, that isn't proportionately better than the less expensive models of others. Though I'm talking about the average knife user, hunter or outdoor type, not the person who carries it for 'vey series' reasons.

You are a bad influence, Fedora. That you are.

Sigh... I have four episodes of black, and have seen two, and want to save some for tomorrow, so I guess I'd better go to bed. Hope I don't dream this. It was very bloody.

Hubby and I just bought the DVDs for the first season of Stargate (StarGate SG1) and it is GOOD!! It wobbles a bit on McGuyver-esque type stuff in the first few episodes, but all the characters quickly mature...and the actor who plays Daniel (the archaeologist, who was played by James Spader in the movies) has Spader down to a T! I was really impressed with how the actor took on some of the odder characteristics of Spader...whether Spader himself deliberately inserted thoser characteristics or if that was just natural to him, I dont know, but I was impressed!

I will ahve to put down my M&C books long enough to finish watching the shows...

Have only one DVD collection of Red Dwarf shows, though. Man I miss that show.

Suger. You know that I have a thing for AMERICAN!!! Don't lecture me on it. I just can't do a non-AMERICAN name honey. It just won't work for me. Go back to the Vette! :-)

Unless you didn't want me to be all hot and sticky over something.

I am very happy thinking '05 Mustang for you. I like the way you get excited over them! You definitely *need* to get one of those. So, I can listen to you enjoying it! :-)

BTW, in case you didn't notice, I'm here in cyberspace hovering behind you, trying to keep you from paying attention to other wimmin and accosting you! hehehe
