Most of my sugar intake is in slightly sweetened ice tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. Same here...'cept add chocolate and the occasional ice cream.
Trying to make that even MORE occasional.

He only lost 2 pounds this week, but he's not discouraged. Two pounds a week is a lot more than people usually lose during other diets.

... some of the guys in CS were cute but mostly not. Heh...but you DID check, huh?
As long as at least SOME are cute...
Money's going to be tight because I won't room with someone I don't know, but... er, Rosie, it's a really, really nice place... dog-friendly, healthy, everyone is nice and intelligent, all the coffee shops have free wireless internet... other than housing, things are pretty darn cheap...
Yeah, yeah, yeah. ;-) I admit it HAS been on my mind. I at least want to visit!

Oh...that's pretty. And uninhabited...cool! Especially pretty considering this isn't exactly the most beautiful time of year for most places.

Here is a picture of me and my sweetie. Has nothing to do with anything really, just that she has been a trooper through all this and very supportive. I am very proud of her and wanted to share with all of you. Steve That's sweet of you! And she's very pretty!

Well I've managed to eliminate the occaisonal for the past 2 or 3 weeks. I can't guarantee that I won't start hitting the ice cream when the weather starts getting hot.
Good morning! Another glorious day out there...sunny and warm. Our grass must be much hardier than the type they have in Washington, because after just the few warm days we've had this weekend, and in spite of the frost at night...there are hints of green in sunnier spots. And it's going to be warm for the next few days - looks like March is going to go out like a lamb.
Fritz was a very good boy all evening. Went out several times to go potty and went right away. No accidents in the house...phew! I praised him profusely and am hoping maybe he'll do better at my house where there are no smells of previous accidents...of his making, in any case.
Sigh...on the downside, somehow the power adapter for my laptop at home got damaged...the cord is smashed in one place and it isn't working. I may try to squash it back and wrap some electrical tape around it...but looks like I'll be needing a new one. And they ain't cheap!

Hot weather...mmmmmm...
I'm sooooo ready for spring at this point! I really hope the weather stays nice.
Might have to go for another long walk this afternoon...or several short ones. I should probably take the dogs, but one at a time. Maybe do a short loop, switch dogs and do it again. Fritz needs to trim down some. He was getting into the cat food at the house...which isn't an option at my house as the cats are fed out of reach of the dog(s). Gotta put him through boot camp now... ;-)

Doggie boot camp?
To: Overtaxed
Yep! Get him in shape before passing him on...
Which reminds me...I should take some pictures tonight to put on petfinder.com and maybe some dachshund sites.

Because of having to find a new place? Or because he needs to go through boot camp? ;-)

Both. Poor little dog! His family doesn't want him anymore. *Sniff* :(

I've tried to convince them...but didn't work.
And I just don't think I could handle both of 'em forever.
I'm determined not to get too attached to the little guy...but if he's really good...well, we'll see. I don't think that's an option, especially as he's not used to being alone (well...without people) all day, but I also didn't have a fenced in area for potty time when I was first thinking of taking him.

Your desk is too clean. The outsourcing people will be touring this week, and everybody has to clean up. I just wanted photographic proof that my desk was clean.
Actually, I only use the "bible" for those things too involed, or so seldom used, that they aren't in my Palm Pilot. I have over 230+ sets of hints, contacts, etc. in the Palm, and the Palm desktop app. My goal is to refer to the "bible" as little as possible.
