Goodnight then you two! Glad you had such an adventure today. Enjoy your movie! I'm still watching old westerns that Aunt Cheryl sent home with me last weekend. Lovin' it!

Hi and welcome. Sorry to comment and run. I had a 5 hour meeting/training I had to attend.
Yes, he did find treasure, precious. However, it was lost when he dumped the sand. He will have to find it again the next time he goes into the sandbox.

I am sure it was an accident, probably just being clumsy on his part. What got him grounded was his bad attitude in cleaning it up.
I hated to ground him from playing with Sting, but it was a good bargaining tool!

He cleaned up most of it, and the vaccuum did the rest. Godo thing it was such a nice day, and the wet sand dried up fairly quickly. If not, we would have had muddy sand in the carpet, and that would have been much worse.
Today's research was on PE's family. I did make some headway, but not as much as I would have liked. Unfortunately, I think my next step for his family will be going to the National Archives (it is in Fort Worth, and I can't take elf-boy with me - he is too young, i.e. not allowed)
Just about all my lines go back to the 1700's and some go further. The ones that don't are one on my mother's side and one on PE's side. There are many verifications that need to be made on all sides though.

Hmmm... I wonder if my bank account will scream too much if I buy Rurouni Kenshin dvds. I want them so much...

Glad to hear he got it cleaned up!--I bet that took some Jedi powers :)

The side effect from being grounded was that he worked outside with PE on the sprinkler and got to play in the sprinkler to test if it worked. He wasn't allowed to play with anyone, or watch TV, so he resorted to playing in his room with his LeapPad. Matter of fact, he ran out the batteries and had to have them replaced.
Two small things that weren't a part of his grounding that really cheered him up were that he got a kids meal from Sonic for dinner (yes, I let him have the toy), and he got to meet and pet the neighbor's doggies in our front yard. One of them is a 4-5 month old puppy (clumiest puppy I ever did see, but CUTE!), and the other was an adult beagle.
