"Demolition Man" is fun. Good blow-'em-up action, a really pleasant future dystopia - a hell of niceness. It's got Sandra Bullock, who's one of my favorite actresses; and I find it really amusing for many wrong reasons.

See, it's her insistance on performing superdeeds in underwear that throws me off. And I thought the headband was really dumb-looking. Er, and what exactly does she do? To me, she's just Another Generic Superhero.

Possibly that's why I usually like single-superheros better, like Spiderman. People who don't have whole gangs of superfriends.

Alex Ross is a marvelously talented man, isn't he?

He portrayed WW in a loincloth and armor that just floored me. His style --- "hyperrealistic?" --- is soooo easy on the eye!

The concept of the X-Men allows for literally millions of potential members. And that history of Kitty's doesn't mention everything. For example, her father got mixed up with the Japanese yakuza, which is part of the reason why she was went to Japan. Wolverine went because his wife was a yakuza leader. The yakuza play a big role in the X-Men's history.

The history of Storm, now ... that's several pages long to get to the high points!

I like her tiara! :) Plus it's made of an Amazonium metal which is the strongest on earth and is very handy in a fight:
