Oh! I forgot about that. Notice I never said a word about perfume? I'm allergic to an aweful lot of that. I choose my own so I know I won't get sick!
'night all
G'night! Thanks for all the great advice :) BTW, you were only one post from the Precious!--ROFL!
No more confused than I was before--ROFLMBO! :) At least I learned about chocolate, even if I don't understand flowers yet :)
Me, too! :) Hairspray, too, sometimes.
Hey! That's pretty good stuff for PMS!!!
Find somebody who has sense enough to know when they have PMS or are just getting irrationally depressed. The first step is admitting you have a problem. Then, figuring out how to fix it yourself without bringing everyone else's world crashing down around you. A nice long ride on my bike works wonders for me. And at least it gets me out and away from people. hahaha... I *know* I don't want to be around people when I get like that!
Good luck on that one though. LOL
LOL! I dunno, I think there's also something to be said for being able to appreciate the simpler things. Some people aren't able to do that.
It is not necesary to understand. Only acknowledge that women and men are wired up differently. Surely you don't think us wimmin understand ya'll's *guy* things! LOL
Yeah, you gotta know those things. Now, see, you don't want to end up with somebody who bathes in something you're allergic to!
LOL!--yeah, I didn't have too much hope of solving that one :) The bike ride sounds good, though the Wild Turkey also sounds like it'd work :) One thing I have been looking into is herbal remedies for PMS--seen some interesting articles on that.
Some people just aren't paying attention to the right things! :-)
Heck, I don't even understand some of the guy stuff I do myself--ROFL!
That could be worse than getting bacon grease burns while you're cooking nekkid!--ROFL!
I think some people tend to like refined things and some people tend to like simpler. I try to be able to appreciate both--that way it's harder to get bored! :)
Tension Tamer and Mood Mender are very good for that for me! Although, I don't know if anybody else thinks so. Just depends on the symptoms. A lot of PMS is diet related anyway. Water intake is crucial, not drinking enough water makes the physical discomfort VERY much worse. Too much fried or greasy food make it bad. I mean, I eat that stuff, but I try not to when I know it's going to make me *feel* bad. After all these years though, I've pretty much learned those things to make the physical horror non-existant. So, Tension Tamer and Mood Mender are my remedies for the emotional stuff. Whether it's just being ticked off at the world or depressed and wanting to spend a day bawling - those two teas seem to help.
Okay, now why am I telling a guy how to fix PMS?
okay... that pretty much explains this woman's thoughts on PMS!
Good outlook! Don't discount something just because you don't know anything about it.
Interesting gifts from guys. My husband was a rough around the edges guy. I could not believe it when he bought tickets and took me to the ballet when we were dating! I mean, this is the last guy you would think about doing that without being asked. But, he also knew I love ballet. I would never have *asked* him to go with me. But, he bought tickets and *took* me! I was astounded! He also did that a couple of times after we were married. I think he liked what he got out of it! :~D
LOL! I guess it's just because I've seen so many women suffer from it I've become interested in trying to figure it out. Also, in relation to my Kung Fu stuff I also study herbalism and stress-relief exercise, so I'm interested in learning more about how that can be applied to help PMS sufferers.
Anyway, Tension Tamer does wonders for my migraines! I don't know what's in it that helps with PMS, but I should look that up. I have some books with stuff on American Indian and Chinese herbal remedies for PMS, I think I'll check and see if anything in them is in Tension Tamer. The other stuff you mention about water intake and diet also make sense. Does iron intake also play into that?
ROFL! :) Some people have told me that when a rough-around-the-edges guy does something like that it has an extra impact because it's unexpected. Do you agree with that?
>Yeah, you gotta know those things. Now, see, you don't want to end up with somebody who bathes in something you're allergic to!
That could be worse than getting bacon grease burns while you're cooking nekkid!--ROFL!
Hope that's less non sequitir now--ROFLMBO!
