Well I'm Jewish and I saw the movie. I thought it was too violent for the many small children whose parents took them, but otherwise I found it unobjectionable. It was a good movie.
Yes some of the bad guys were Jews. So were *all* of the good guys. There wasn't a decent Gentile in the whole movie.

:-) Note that there were good and evil Jews and Gentiles portrayed. And the Passion is not a Kid friendly movie. I agree that little children should NOT see the movie (I think it is a bit violent for them). My Catholic friends ADORED the film and cried the whole time. So did their teenagers.

I have to wonder, what kind of flipping out there would be over a movie about King David and Bathsheba? In that one a Gentile, who had loyally served his Jewish king, was the victim of a kingly plot to murder him because the king wanted his wife.
