A little fun with TV

I need some help with a challenge that was issued me by a co-worker of mine. We were discussing how, since Hollywood is so bereft of ideas, old TV shows are being made into movies and even the old TV show ideas are being reused for new shows (CSI is really Quincy revisited). I thought that it would be fun to combine old TV shows to make the redesign less noticeable or more entertaining. He challenged me as to how many combinations I could work out.

The following is what I came up with.

Mayberry Vice:

In the first episode Andy and Barney go undercover to find who is supplying the area with narcotics. They discover a syndicate that is run by Goober and that Aunt Bee is on the payroll to get the secret ingredient for her famous brownies. Features a Cigarette boat chase between Barney (in a white silk suit and beard stubble) and Opie - The syndicates top dealer.

I love Lassie:

Laughs abound when Cuban bandleader Ricky Ricardo moves to San Francisco and marries his collie. The wacky neighbors are Fred and Ethel Mutts. In the first episode Lassie and Ethel try to get into Rickys act.

Seinfeld and Son:

Jerry inherits a junk business in LA only to find that Kramer is his son from a tryst he had in kindergarten.

Morkgyver:

Mindy -- I fixed the Jeep transmission with the toaster, a spoon and parts from your hairdryer.

OK have fun

The Dukes of Star Trek The Enterprise is solt to acouple of good ol boys at a county auction. They paint it orange, with a confederate battle flag on the top of the saucer section, and use it to run interspace moonshine.

Wow, it's been a while since I thought of this thread.

How about "Queer eye for Dan Rather." In a last ditch effort to boost sagging ratings for CBS news division Ole Dan starts giving fashion advice along with colorful homespun phrases.
