If you took that from the show then you are as crazy as that demented mother who ordered her son to kill his brother and commit suidicide to prevent them from being molested in foster care.

They showed another homeschooler mom who provided good reasons for why she homeschooled her kids. She also was a nice women with a normal kid. The family in question was screwed up, not because the kids were home schooled but because they had a crazy mother who was emotionnally abusing her kids.

It never stops. The public school unions are right up there with the mainstream media as an institution that is most destructive to the country.

That show and the rest of the NBC crime shows at 10 PM have the poorest scripts and actors they could possibly
find. Ice "T" and Orbach and Jane Mansfield's daughter and that bunch are terrible.

I figured that was how the episode would play out since many L&O episodes are so against anything remotely conservative. I thought the one homeschool mom really summed it up though, in her all too brief appearance--while most homeschoolers are truly dedicated in giving their children the best and safest education, there are a few homeschooling parents who are simply obsessed with controlling virtually everything about their kids' life. She cited a few of the great reasons for homeschooling but as I said, her character appeared far too briefly.

Those 3 Law & Order shows are my favorite contemporary shows and just about all I watch these days. I like the stories but more and more I'm having a hard time with their increasing the Left-wing rhetoric and Right-wing and Christian blasting they do on them.

Sometimes they are so blatantly hypocritical that it's ridiculous. They show an angry, Right-wing defense attorney using outrageosly sleazy tactics while they, the highly moral left, fight honestly to win a death-penalty case. But when it's over, they lament sending the criminal to the lethal injection room. ????

I also find it amusing that they portray ANYONE who's against abortion as people who are 'not quite right in the head' and want to KILL anyone who's pro-abortion.

I used to watch "Law & Order" all the time -- they used to be interesting. However, for a while more and more propaganda has seeped in and they have become preachy, often boring, especial SVU. A while back they made a case for a "transexual" (or was that another show?), yet they were incredibly biased when it came to homosexuals wanting to change.

Last evening's anti-home schooling story appeared so one sided and preachy by the time it was half over that I stopped watching it. Did I miss them changing to a more balanced view?
