If you took that from the show then you are as crazy as that demented mother who ordered her son to kill his brother and commit suidicide to prevent them from being molested in foster care.
They showed another homeschooler mom who provided good reasons for why she homeschooled her kids. She also was a nice women with a normal kid. The family in question was screwed up, not because the kids were home schooled but because they had a crazy mother who was emotionnally abusing her kids.
