Little David was in his 5th grade class when the teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up -- fireman, policeman, salesman, doctor, lawyer, etc.
David was being uncharacteristically quiet, so the teacher asked him about his father.
"My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he'll go out to the alley with some guy and make love with him for money."
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and took little David aside to ask him,
"Is that really true about your father?"
"No," said David, "He works for Sen. Kerry's campaign, but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of all the other kids."

That press conference last night was the most maudlin journalistic farce I have ever seen. I thought President Bush was not in his best form last night. But, how could he be, trying to answer those silly questions from reporters. Lord love a duck, it used to be that reporters asked penetrating and insightful questions ie what, when, where. Now they just ask "how" as in "how do you FEEL".
And you can bet that President Bush knew they would ask these stupid questions and that WE all would notice this also
And you're right they only wanted an apology for a sound bite so they could hammer him over they head with and that is why they kept asking him over and over and over .. and that too did not go un noticed
Hmmmm .. Come to think if of it .. I haven't seen the news screaming about the over night polls
Gee .. I wonder why?? .. hmmm

A lot of people didn't sit through the whole press conference -- they were disgusted at it -- and NOT at the president! The press were such a herd of asses that I thought they would eventually demand a bale of hay with the presidential apology they tried to get. They are NOT on the side of America's troops - I don't care if they have "Bring them home" bumper stickers on their POS cars, dishonor and fear gains their sympathy, valor and determination frightens them.

Ashcroft ZAPS Gorelick
Memo that prevented FBI and CIA from working together before 9/11 was just declassified by Ashcroft. It was written by Comissioner Gorelick. Did you hear today about the PDB that was written up for the President and it's accuratcy? .. Tenet said he had some major issues about it.
Also that the WH is looking into wether or not to release the name of that agent that wrote it up
Today .. Ben Vesti kept saying it was a "she" that wrote up that PDB
I would die laughing if that "she" was Val Plume

I'm feeling sorry for myself tonight. I was supposed to go over this evening and meet with Marsha and Haley Barbour. I wasn't well enough to go! Realllllllllly ticks me off.
