The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Ever move and never unpack some boxes?
And so, years later, there's still boxes of packed items sitting in the corner?

It bothers me only a little that "flylady" is now used as a verb...
Howdy evellybody!!!
WN! So how was today? Was ANGRYMAN brought under control?

Ever move and never unpack some boxes? I have a rule that any box I haven't opened in over a year is clearing only stuff I don't need and can be thrown out.
To: Ramius
I have thiings I inherited from my grandfather, still packed in boxes from when we moved.
*ugh*
Then there's the CB base set and various and sundry other items.

Well... I just said I *have* the rule, not that I strictly apply it. The rule is there for times when I need it. :-)
I still have boxes and boxes of my grandfather's slides and movies from his world travels. [sigh] What do you do with stuff like that? Sure, it would be good to someday go through it all. Maybe it would be a waste of time, but maybe... just maybe... there's some real treasure in there somewhere.

Yikes!!!

I have two boaxes labeled "crap I never unpacked from the last two moves"
I looked in there couple weeks ago. Was like a time capsule from college!

~SHE~ started out just wanting a little buffing and shaping....
Hard to say exactly when control was lost...

I think you will like the WalMart manicure if you go there. I have used their nail salons both here and in Waco and was satisfied. They are the place with the best price around here for acrylics too but they don't put them on as carefully. They aren't shaped as nicely sometimes and they never stay on as long as the ones from the place I go now. My lady only charges $2 more than WalMart but my nails are very carefully done and right now it's been since before entmoot that I got fills and they're still holding on strong!
I was supposed to get them done this week but with all the stuff at work I never had time! :-( My nails are the purely vain luxury that I allow myself! LOL As a kid growing up in Grama's beauty salon I always hated it when she'd take a notion to mess with my hair - but from the time I was a little bitty thing I loved it when she'd do my nails. I haven't gotten over that to this day! LOL

I doubt that he's under control of any kind! I went in and talked to Gene. He told me to write it up. He was giving welding finals today so I really didn't have time to discuss it with him further. But, he has my report now....
.... after that, I came home, drank some Tension Tamer tea, caught up on the thread and then slept for about 4 hours. Yeah, I slept some last night, but not a lot and not well.
