I was thinking the same thing.
*sigh*
Nothing, really. I am not sure there is a real bonafide source for these 'ideas' about what might be included. Just grist for the mill...
The sacrifices you make! The world just doesn't appreciate you as it should. You are *such* a nice guy!
*eyes roll*
ROFL!
BTW, I checked and there is an Irish restaurant around here that makes a shamrock out of sour cream when they serve Irish Root Soup; so I guess that must be a popular thing to do :)
Bring Back the Shamrock Shake!
Do you remember in days past, when you could visit your local McDonalds® restaurant in March, and purchase (for a limited time) a frothy, mint-flavoured SHAMROCK SHAKE?
It has been many years (up to TEN in some regions) since the last Shamrock Shake was sold (on or before St. Patrick's Day). There are those of us who still remember those days fondly, and while there is an emptiness in our heart, there is an even greater sorrow for our tastebuds.
We look toward the future, when the green dairy-like treat will return. But, we fear that day may not come to pass...unless we can unite in our cause, bring attention to the public, and together, we may bring back the lost joy that this emerald liquid confection brought to our lives.
With your support (yes you), we can use the power of the Internet, and the passion of humanity to return to us what was lost--THE RETURN OF THE SHAMROCK SHAKE!
All we ask of you (aforementioned), is to click on the email link on the left and fill out their McForm with the message:
"Bring back the Shamrock Shake!"
We hope that we can create some attention from our website. If enough of our voices can be heard, maybe we can make a difference.
Vive Le Shamrock!
Then you'd like the Shamrock Shake :) Here's the top-secret recipe:
Top Secret Recipes version of McDonald's Shakes
by Todd Wilbur
Forty million customers get a dose of Mickey D's fast food every day. That also happens to be the exact same number of Americans who snore every night. Coincidence? But seriously, with all those daily McDonald's fans, you have to figure that at least a million or so go for one of the chain's three standard flavors of think shakes: vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry (as for the special Shamrock Shake, see below). The clone recipes here are quick since each one requires just three simple ingredients and a blender to mix it all up. How McEasy is that? Throw everything in a blender and press a button -- the one on the right. And if you want your shake thicker, just stash it in the freezer for a while.
You'll also find it very easy to re-create the flavors of McDonald's perennial St. Patrick's Day shake using only four ingredients. The two that make this holiday shake unique are the mint extract and green food coloring. Make sure your extract says "mint" and not "peppermint". And if you don't want shakes that are green like the real ones, you can certainly leave out the food coloring. After all it's only for looks. Now you can sip on a Shamrock any time of the year. Blarney!

What, what, WHAT?!!!
Do you know which version that was or when it was made? I saw a recent BBC adaptation of that where the lion was played by a mechanical lion and it actually looked pretty good.
You could rebel by secretly wearing green socks :)
And we saw this pic of Grima with a knife....
And do we all remember the oft-talked about Wizard Kabob on the Spikey Wheel?
