BTW, I checked and there is an Irish restaurant around here that makes a shamrock out of sour cream when they serve Irish Root Soup; so I guess that must be a popular thing to do :)

Sigh... as long as I live in my father's house, I have to abide by his "No green on St. Patrick's Day" rule. He had this little problem of having been raised by a very English mother. Frankly he doesn't care about the Irish except that, once a year, he has to show his Anglicism by refusing to participate.

Everyone else I know goes out and has fun. Humph.
