The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Well, sadly I failed at the run again today. Just too much going on and now I hurt.

Saw "Passion". Wow. Don't want to talk about it right now, though.

I consider arson to be a form of terrorism, and should be treated as such. Especially if you catch them in the act. Too easy for good people to die, or lose everything in life they've worked for.

it's dead jim...

A thead, being non-biological, can neither be dead nor alive. Therefore, the statement is illogical.

D*mnit, I'm a doctor, not some kind of computer coroner!

Well I'm a coroner and I say it was murder!

?

We are home. We have been home long enough to feed elf-boy some chicken and change into pajamas. Ate too much, ya know. It was great to see y'all again. Next time we do this, though, we need to not gorge out so much.

Have you seen the latest Priceline commercial, where they're "downsizing" Shatner, and he says, "I'm the voice of Priceline. Who else could you get?". Then in walks Nimoy (with regular ears).

Hee, yes. But they're too old now. Besides, Nimoy's not really cool. Spock is cool, though.

You mean the third pic of the guy in the green surgery suit with the yellow gloves? That's Jack Klugman as Quincy, M.E., an old mystery show based on the cases of an LA coroner, which was cancelled in the early 80s but is still shown in syndication. Inevitably, when Quincy's boss would declare a case to be a simple death, Quincy would somehow discover "it was murder!" :)

You mean you don't think Nimoy's Ballad of Bilbo Baggins music video was cool? :)
