My uncle Paul was involved in a head on collision with a drunk unlicensed driver with no insurance he sustained a broken pelvis a cracked lower vertebra his right leg which hes had surgery on and was recovering from was crushed and his left ankle was broken.
He was driving over to another relatives house which hes worked with for years it was a daily routine as Master Plumbers they are the best in their field.
The doctors says if he makes it he may never walk again because of the broken vertibra as of yesterday he underwent surgury on his pelvis to reline and reattach it to get it to heal quickly.
The drunk driver just swerved into my uncles lane and hit him head on he was taken to the hospital and released with no injurys to himself but as far as known he just walked out of the hospital without any charges being pressed and to top it off when my cousins were sent back to the car to get my uncles tools of the trade from the wreckage all his tools were gone just vanished into thin air!
Thats all i know for now i will update progress as it comes along

I appologize for sounding vindictive but i love my uncle very much as anyone would love thiers i guess and for a man who has no license and drunk to just walk out of the hospital really makes me mad to ruin someones life and just walk away really hacks me off.

My mom was in a similar accident when I was 9. Her most serious injury was loss of a good size chunk of tibia bone in her left leg, they had to replace it with bone from her hip. To this day, her left leg is shorter than her right leg by about half an inch and the circulation in that leg isn't too great. So no, I don't think you sound vindictive at all. Prayers to your uncle for a speedy and full recovery.

What an accident!
Don't we have laws in Ohio, requiring car insurance?? This man won't get off, I'm thinking. Please contact the police.
Also, it doesn't sound like he has assets, but you never know....there's civil action your family can take too.
Don't give up hope! Prayers lifted. You do NOT sound vindictive. Angre, understandable angry, yes!

Prayers for your uncle. Please contact your local MADD chapter. They will assign an advocate who will show your family how to go after this scum, punish him, and keep him off the road. A few years ago a drunk driver left my sister-in-law in a coma from a severe closed head injury that has altered her life and that of her husband and children forever. MADD was invaluable during the trial, and still is every time he has a parole hearing.

I'd be the same way. That's how it usually happens. You're being way too kindn but this is a 'family' website.

Sorry to hear about your uncle AP. It always seems the good guys are the one's who suffer most from the careless, stupid, and criminal. I hope he gets better and that your family gets some justice (or what passes for it in these cases).

Prayers for your uncle.
We had family that were in an accident with an unlicensed drunk driver several years ago, what you're feeling is very normal. They survived, but the girl suffers from some neurological problems and her brother can no longer play football due to his leg injury. Their grandmother just suffered from a broken arm and a few ribs.
What was most aggravating to us was, this man had caused several accidents before. It turns out he was the grandson of the mayor of a small neighboring town, so little was ever done about his offenses.
Hang in there.

Prayers for your uncle. I hope that the Lord will grant him healing.
Driving under the influence is one of the worst of crimes. And all too often, as in this case, the "agressor" driver is not really hurt - because their vechile is giving rather than receiving the impact. I hope this man faces serious charges.

Prayers for your uncle, AP.
And prayers for you that the dregs of humanity don't darken your light.

Prayers on the way
To: All
The only updates i have right now are that my uncle has gone through surgery well for his pelvis and they are going to put him in a forced coma in order to keep him still while they work on him we dont know exactly how long he will be that way. but we are praying that goes well the next set of operations will be on his throat and chest for the trachiotomy they installed the night of the accident i would say hes doing as well as could be expected after going through such an accident
Thank you for your prayers and support i know form your mind to Gods ears these payers go
Amen
