Kitty Caption XXXV – Napping – (Humor/Meow Alerts)
12 January 2004

I have been quiet lately. Mostly due to being busy at work (at that is not so bad), have not been posting much on FR since the beginning of the year. So quiet that even the kitties have been taking longer naps than usual. Here are a few pictures from their lengthy naps.
Sleep is considered exercise to this cat.
ZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZ.
Drunk kitty needs long nap.
One more kitty taking a nap.
OOPS --- I screw up. Must be too early in the morning. Back to my nap.

Kitty Humor is weekly thread (usually on Monday) on FR in the General Interest section. Among all the serious news, a little humor with our feline friends is always a welcome diversion. If you want on/off the kitty humor list (114 members) or you have a picture/animation you want featured, please send me freep-mail.

How many cats do you have?
Looks like that chubby one needs to do some walking on that treadmill!

Sleep is considered exercise to this cat The sleep muscle is the largest in a cat's body and if it is not exercised regularly it will atrophy and lead to long periods of wakefulness.
Oh the horror!

Waking a cat unecessarily carries its own punishment.

Send me a link via Freepmail.
I have been getting so much junk mail that I automatically delete anything (even from relatives) with attachments.

A cat can sleep for 10 years, and at any time get up and climb a sequoia.

I always knew cats were the smartest creatures on earth, now there's proof. One of them just found the perfect use for a treadmill.
I think I'll put my two kitties to work this morning to solve a few other problems. Hot water pipe burst the other night. Still waiting for a plumber. Garage door won't open. Waiting a week for a repairman while the cars are collecting snow and ice in the driveway. Plow service came to clean driveway, but the cars are blocking it.
I'm SURE my kitties will take care of everything. I'm going back to bed.

Surprised no-one has commented on the Floriduh picture. Posted it by accident and decided to leave it in.

You know, if you think about it, the Floriduh photo makes sense. It explains everything. As if Floriduh Dems were sleeping and clawed the chads without thinking.
I nap now.
