I don't think he was. Carolina could easily win this if they win the toss.

If Martz wins the toss he'll elect to receive and take the wind. ;-)

The Rams and Mike Martz have given them plenty of reason to grind their teeth.Granted, but if the team took that defeatist attitude right now, they'd be heading to the locker room. I just think it's tacky and counterproductive to boo your team. JMO.

WTF was Martz thinking there? Especially when they had momentum.
martz to team: "I have no confidence in my offense, the greatest show on earth, because they may screw up."
Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence, "coach"
Unfreakinbelievable.

LOL!
No one can do that since Willie Joe "I want to Kiss you" did it way back when

Mike Martz is an idiot.
I watch the NFL a lot, but whenever I watch the Rams I never forget that fact.
To: tdadams
Martz must have something better to do next weekend, it doesn't seem like he's interested in playing football.

St. Louis Rams to kick. J.Wilkins kicks 58 yards from SL 30 to CAR 12. R.Smart to CAR 32 for 20 yards (J.Loyd).
Rams 23, Panthers 23
Rams defense hasn't been on the field in last 37:30
To: Dan from Michigan
Since I'm a Colts' fan, it doesn't matter much to me who wins this game. But dang, what a boneheaded call by the Rams' coach.
