My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Descending dusk... an encroachment
on the suns domain
days last rays of light
pouring its way through
an iridescent
ice field on glass
natures ceremony
a light dance
of frozen condensation in silence
a phenomenal event... trompe l'oeil sky patterns
a varied palette of color
washed on by passing clouds
and an every changing canvas
glacier blues, vermilion reds
chartreuse and violets
the ceremony in view...

There once was a man from Danudder
Whose mind was always in the gutter
To ladies he'd leer
They'd cringe in fear
And priests would walk by and shudder.

Well.... an artificial mind could
malfunction, as could an artificial
guy. I guess either way, you'd be scrute...

two paths lie ahead of you
one is a continuation of the path you've been on
one is new and requires a change in direction for you
neither of us can see past the bend of either
perhaps the familiar one will be easier
perhaps the new one is where you'd really like to go
they both lead to some kind of future
there is no hurry in choosing
when you decide
and which ever road you choose
I want to go down that road with you
I'll either walk beside you
or behind you at a slight distance
either way
i'll support your decision
i'll be within reach
and never leave you

Well, I pondered it for a while
& this is what I told him.

I figure it's just easier to find a real

Beautiful Snippy, it's almost like a poem someone could have written to Robert Frost inspiring him to take "The Road Not Taken".
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Robert Frost

Hi snippy,
Lovely work. I thought immediately of Robert Frost.
Thanks for the kind words you have posted to me and the Colonel regarding our work.
