My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Change Upon Change
by Elizabeth Barrett Browning
Five months ago the stream did flow,
The lilies bloomed within the sedge,
And we were lingering to and fro,
Where none will track thee in this snow,
Along the stream, beside the hedge.
Ah, Sweet, be free to love and go!
For if I do not hear thy foot,
The frozen river is as mute,
The flowers have dried down to the root:
And why, since these be changed since May,
Shouldst thou change less than they.
And slow, slow as the winter snow
The tears have drifted to mine eyes;
And my poor cheeks, five months ago
Set blushing at thy praises so,
Put paleness on for a disguise.
Ah, Sweet, be free to praise and go!
For if my face is turned too pale,
It was thine oath that first did fail, --
It was thy love proved false and frail, --
And why, since these be changed enow,
Should I change less than thou.

*What's it gonna take, till my baby's alright?*
The vines twisted around slightly and hissed. The dog had just gone by and ... used the ground in an offensive manner! The ivy shudddered, mammals.. such disgusting creatures! The mailman came up the stoop humming to himself at the same moment that the ivy couldn't take it anymore.
Tendrils shot outward! Tearing and rending bone and sinew! Roots took hold and amid the crackle of bone, the ivy ate. A sudden thirst for the blood of moving creatures filled the ivy with rage. First, though, the dog must pay...
Yes, the dog must pay..

Actually, Sam, I was going to say "yours works better than mine", but then I realized that would break about twenty of these codes. :)

*What's it gonna take, till my baby's alright?*
What's it gonna take for me to cry, baby?
What's it gonna take to make me smile?
Tell ya what Baby, A little sugar in the mornin,
a little sugar in the night, a little sugar baby
is gonna make it alright.

Yes, but it's the remaining ten percent that make life worth living.

Interesting, Thanks!
Wonder what my evil barcalounger story short will inspire..
It waited for it's prey to come by, it's leather upholstry tempting it's vitcims to their doom. Waiting with it's siren song of comfort and relaxation to lure some weak willed to take a seat... Suddenly they are stuck! The chair won't let them go! Slowly it starts it's feeding process.. the victim feels their legs and arms grow weak as the chair saps their strength. Then it devours their soul once they are asleep and defenseless....
And everyone thought that barcaloungers were harmless luxuries.

Thanks for the 'CODE', printed it and posted for a reference, and sent it off to my buddies to see what sort of additions they come up with a regional flavor as it were.

Freedom
A right ordained by a God some fear enough hate,
and worth fighting for forevermore where ever it is attacked.
Something so bright and good that it illuminates the soul,
of every free loving person God put upon this world.
A spirit, and a feeling that motivates standing true and tall,
and leaves the lesser ones in shadowed gloom.
A need that burns within and drives a prisoner to find the way,
to reach the open world where their spirit aches to play.
The right to have a family and watch them grow to maturity,
and add their own steps on the ladder to Freedoms upward climb.
The drive to be the best you can and the pride of attempting perfection,
knowing that you stand on the shoulders of those before, awaiting your turn.
Freedom is a scary thing for its totally alive with all the chances you must take,
to find the treasures only it will ever truly provide.
It is a part of all mankind, yet some shy from its demands,
sad to say I understand and I nod as I stride on by!

"How are you my friend??"
Let's see, I got laid off before Christmas, and today my wife gets laid off. I guess sort of
%%$$##@@ might cover it close enough! I am not really in a good mood right now, I'll see ya all later.
