For failed foreign policy, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter were par for the course.
To: Dubya's fan
i'm surprised. i mean, i know jimmy carter was a miserable foreign policy failure, but come on.
lbj is responsible for medicare and basically the rest of the welfare state.
fdr is responsible for social security.
both of them are far, far worse than jimmy carter could ever hope to be.

Beezlebubba the uncouth. There is absolutely no comparison. Clinton is not only the worst President, he is the worst man ever to be President.

It depends how people interpret the question. In terms of effectiveness, Carter may be the worst. FDR, who is often near the top of the all time greats list, was elected 4 times, commanded the US armed forces against the axis powers in WW2, "brought the country out of the Depression"--they say. He was deeply loved.
But, if you look at it from a policy standpoint, maybe FDR was the worst because he was so effective. Depends how you take the question.

He wasn't President when he did that. But he is also a scumbag. Not as bad as Clinton, though.

I'll have to say Clinton because like Nero, he fiddled while Rome burned. Because of his weakness and inability to deal with security, terrorists were encouraged to attack us here and overseas. We're paying dearly for it now.

I know he wasn't president, but he was working along side the worst scumbag to ever grace the White House in the 20th Century. It galls me and anyone else how Carter achieved his Peace Prize.

From a pretty shameful part of American history, that's for sure.
