Never forget; BKO is the first person who put a face on the horror of that day. Godspeed.

Report in with updates as you can. In the meantime, we'll be lifting up your mother .... and you .... in prayer. May God be with you all!

I love James Bond......they are all so handsome, witty, "brave" sophisticated, debobair, jaunty, terrific....I can't go on.

I hope everyone had a very Happy New Year's Eve (and day.) We just stayed in, had family and friends over for movies, food, and games. Someone bought fireworks a few blocks over, so we watched fireworks at midnight.
I'm still waiting for the predicted storm to move into SLC. So far, the wind is just blowing fiercely.

I received Tyler Florence's cookbook for Christmas. It is quite a good one, he has some really commonsense recipes. So far, I've been quite happy with what I've made from the cookbook.

Happy New Year UG.

And I'm off to the grocery store. I want to make a Mussaman curry for dinner tonight, and I need a couple of ingredients. Talk to everyone later.
To: Neets
Sounds as if you had a good one. I still can't believe it's 2004, where does the time go?
To: Utah Girl
Tyler is one of my favorite TV chefs. He's pretty accurate at what he does, unlike a certain BAM! guy. ;>)

Doesn't it put gravel in your girdle when you hear the critics of our President Bush claim he knew of the 9/11 horror and did nothing about it, then remember x42's statement that he couldn't accept the Sudanese government's offer to turn Osama over to the US? The real reason being, x42 didn't have the courage or the credibility to handle the situation.

I agree. The BAM guy is not very exacting when he cooks. I really like Food 911, I've learned many things from watching that show. I think the BAM guy is mostly TV hype. I've actually eaten at a couple of his restaurants. The steak house was one of the best, the seafood restaurant was OK.
To: Neets
Oh, you bet I love martinis almost more than James Bond. A martini is cool to the touch.

The black-eyed peas have been cooking for six hours, slow and on low heat, cabbage on the stove cooking as we speak, cornbread (w/out sugar) in the oven, pork being put on the platter and, it is 75 outside on this new years day, what else could you ask for. Have a good day friend, I sure am. Toby

And your sister will cook for you? :) Smooth move if she does. Who is your favorite Italian chef?
Yikes, all sorts of police cars and fire trucks and ambulances whizzing by my house. Wonder what is going on.
To: Utah Girl
Hey, that show has given the BAM guy a new house being built here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, USA. How bout them er, fries.
