We're pretty lucky here in the boonies - it's pretty live and let live. I mean I walk into the local corner mart and the gals behind the counter are all smoking!!!

Of course Virginia is a tobacco state.

OTOH the Governor wants to raise the 2 and a half cents per pack tax to 25 cents and let towns and counties add up to another 50 cents.

Of course all the usual suspcts are coming out of the wals about it. There was even a blurb about it on Fox News Live the last half hour.
