For the record: I am an atheist but my "offense" was satirical.

I did twig - once you mentioned getting the lawyers in.

But there are some people serious about that. There was this book No Don't Wish Me a Happy Christmas (or some title like that) by a Jewish writer who felt entired persecuted and aggrieved by endless Christmas festivities. It was published by one of the university presses.

Dear Deeply Offended: You should know better than to be so intolerant of conservatives and make whinny triads about how "normal" Christian Seasonal Greetings might offend you. Please accept "Freedom of Religion" and do not mistake it to mean "Freedom from Religion". Respect the rights of others and if you are truely offended, you might ask the liberals of the world to accept you for you fit their mode, e.g., anti-christian, anti-God, and easily hurt.
