My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

The curse of "Speedy Five" and a short attention span. :-)If you weren't speedy we'd need ten more folks to keep the Foxhole up and running every day. LOL.

However, snippy and bentfeather have encouraged me to be unafraid.I remember being afraid too. We have such good friends here and a good place thanks to feather that it does make it easy. We're so glad you joined our 'family' here as well as the Foxhole.

LOL
It was a grand evening Sir.
I did hit the feathers a little after 1:00am. Once I get into the bed and asleep I don't like rollng out unless I have to.
My working years are over with now so I can do that, but there was a time.....
It's snowing here this morning and it's cold.

This and That:
Benjamin Franklin's autobiography was the best-seller of the year in America in 1794. It was published in England the year before, three years after Franklin's death.

Once I get into the bed and asleep I don't like rollng out unless I have to. I don't like rolling out even when I *have* to. Birds of a feather, so to speak.
Not snowing here, but it has been below zero since Monday so we're ready for a little warmup. :)

The sun is trying to peek through here and the temp is 19F.
Below zero, that is cold.
My grandmother came from Finland in 1899, she used to have some old sayings: For January, "As the days begin to lengthen, the cold begins to strengthen. "
I always think about that this time of year. Do you have any Finn settlements around your town?
