My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Anti Claus is definitely a keeper.
The missus just got the idea of having our photos taken(digitally) with our cats.
The cats, of course, had other ideas at first.
And after suffering a horrible defeat and transport to the photo staging area, now wonder about the sanity of their owners.
*snort*
Nothin' like having your cat plotting your demise out of revenge.

Christmas Eve



On window panes, the icy frost
Leaves feathered patterns, crissed & crossed,
But in our house the christmas tree
Is decorated festively
With tiny dots of colored light
That cozy up this winter night.
Christmas songs, familiar, slow,
Play softly on the radio.
Pops and hisses from the fire
Whistle with the bells and choir.



My tiger is now fast asleep
On his back and dreaming deep.
When te fire makes him hot,
He turns to warm whatever's not.
Propped against him on the rug,
I give my friend a gentle hug.
Tomorrow's what I'm waiting for,
But I can wait a little more.

Hi snippy!!

Yes, I be here tomorrow. My family always holds our celebrations on Christmas Eve. I will be seeing everyone this afternoon. We have a huge finger food buffet around 6:00pm.


Some of the girls are working today as a lot of folk do. The Hockey Star is home!! Woo Hoo!!
