My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

No break for me. I have Christmas day off and New Years Day but that's it. I do plan to be off a few days mid January but that's it.

I have not received anything yet, and may not.
Mostly it's an Honorary title, but nonetheless very rewarding.
On a national level it's a big deal. Big bucks involved.
Also, poet societies have Laureates.
There are local county Poet Laureates.
They are usually faculty with the Universities.
We are not connected with them in any way,
For me I am honored.
This is a small membership under 200 members.

At one of my jobs we would get a long holiday, almost 10 days...That sounds nice. I used up a lot of my vacation this year and had lots of fun so it's okay to be at work now, I don't mind.
