My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Morning Sam.
Elvis
Jailhouse Rock and Blue Suede Shoes,
Made his leg start shaking.
Parents freaked about by his style,
Teenagers were quaking.
Elvis was indeed the King,
Of good old Rock n Roll.
Others followed in his wake,
But fame sure had its toll.
He died too young as many do,
The legend still lives on.
He isnt dead as many think,
He called me on the phone.
Happy Birthday I exclaimed,
He said, Thank you much.
I asked where the heck hed been,
He said hed stay in touch.
He wouldnt tell me where he was,
I said I understand.
He really needs his privacy,
Cause he is still the man.
Happy Birthday Elvis P,
Sixty Nine today.
He said hed drop by later on,
But keep it quiet OK?

Morning CG. Good one about Elvis. He was hit or miss with me, I tended to like his later songs, but some of his earlier ones are pretty good too. Have to admit I did loke his movies, just fun entertainment.

His cars always had the best radios. Like a full orchestra in the am radio for his songs.

LOL. Here I sit, going over old threads and find this question you asked and I never answered. Better late than never I guess. Almost two years later and yes, it is Mt. Hood in Oregon. :-)
It doesn't seem like that long ago we all had more time to be here. :-(
