Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Yeah, it's a Dell. I'll dig out the paperwork and stuff over the weekend and call. Dell, not Rose that is ;-)
Thanks.

Then the program just opens up using WMP or something? The program transfers files from the ftp server to your hard drive. The files themselves are all mp3.

If you can find the "Dell Drivers & Systems Utilities" disk that came with the system, you'll need that on hand too. It has the diagnostic programs on it.

Dagnabbit... got major wireless problem tonight. Let's see if THIS POST makes it. I've only tried this three times now...
Try a music CD, and since it's the left speaker, something with lotsa bass. As you crank the volume up the crackle should become not only more pronounced but more mechanical (instead of electrical). At high volume it may sound like a thackythacky sound as the speaker coil whacks against the magnet housing. If you hear that... if it wasn't blown before, it is now. :-)
Time to get new speaker.

Yes, unlike the document I was lookin' for the other day, I do know what box those disks are in.
To: Ramius

It's not just a recipe for lefse... there's a host of special tools. You can't make it with ordinary kitchen supplies.
Key among the tools is a lefse rolling pin. It has v-shaped grooves all around instead of a flat one. The other essential is a really large griddle to cook the things on.
Hair might have the recipe handy... but I can look it up.

Dagnabbit... got major wireless problem tonight. Let's see if THIS POST makes it. I've only tried this three times now... Whatsa matter? You're at your regular spot aren't ya? I thought you always had a good wireless signal there. What's up?
To: 2Jedismom
Heh. Tammie just got here. Dr. No is still on. She just asked me if I'd like to be stuck somewhere in a cave with Sean Connery. Suddenly, it's very hot in here!
After this, we're watching Bad Boys 2 - which she got me for Christmas.... it's not Pirates, but I guess it's the next best thing.
To: HairOfTheDog
Corin in a grass skirt and coconut brassiere I'll pass...
To: Wneighbor
