Well, I guess I'm inviting myself, but I've thought lots about it in the past couple of days. And I have college friends I could visit in Seattle (free lodging).

But wife and Jr. both want to take missions trips this summer. So we'd have to see.

But I am vey series about us not losing touch and about doing this again sometime.

Heh...we should be OK. I'm not bringing the most annoying ones. ;-)

We can always lock ourselves in one of the bedrooms with Escaflowne if the going gets TOO weird, right?

Back when I was Coastie... and my ship spent a few days in Long Beach, and several of us rented a van and went to spend a very drunken-sailor day at Disneyland...

We all got mouse ear hats, plus some more as extras. When the USCGC Resolute got underway from the Long Beach pier... the entire bridge gang was wearing mouse ears, including the Captain. It was priceless.

Gotta have a sense of humor. Just gotta.

That reminds me.... I still haven't told Dad.

When asked, I keep saying our number of attendants will depend on how many folk from the thread are coming!

But our attendants will be wearing shorts and sandals... no one will be in satin unless they choose to be. The groom-n-me will be the only ones in formal wear.

Howdy darlin'! Glad you like the pics. :-) We tried to take several others but those 2 were the only ones that came out. :-(

I have - people from music related lists, mostly. Met up with a gang of them at a concert (Doc Watson), and after a few minutes of awkwardness we were chattering away like we'd known each other for a long time. Dad and my brother were kinda shocked, I think!

Also met with some internet friends at a guitar camp I went to a few years back. Aside from a few surprises in the way people looked vs. the way I'd imagined them, it went very smoothly. For example, one guy came across as this rather wise and witty older gent...wrote a lot of interesting stories about experiences and family...turned out to be a young dad with a bunch of little kids!

Gospel John and Chameleon and La Fiesta are enough to keep me goin' for weeks. ohgodohgodohgod... I'm havin' a "moment".

Bill knows all the words to several of the anime themes. Not Escaflowne, though. But no, we wouldn't think it weird...

Choir is going to Slovakia. We decided only one of us could go. And we're not sure about that.

Youth group will probably go to Brazil and/or Thailand where the youth Pastor grew up. They usually do two trips. We haven't heard yet.

Two of my favorite ex-girfriends came about that way.

Good... but I probably won't. My voice isn't that good.

I've met one friend I know online. We've known each other for... oh, gosh, it must be almost five years now... we got together this summer and it was so cool! Made me feel good about Entmoot, I'll tell you that.
