The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I would help you build fence, if'n I was closer!

And I would let you! I'm hoping I can get it done this year. It's on my "to do" list. Which is a vey long list.

We're planning to take some more trees out. One of which is one of Sam's cable run trees. And I don't really want to just reconfigure that because I can't do it without running him thru Luke's play area or over the cat's grave (and that just seems wrong).

I have an ambitious agenda for outside this year. I'm hoping (per 2J's inspiration) to start my "square foot gardening" project. We have to build a ramp for Nana (brothers-in-law are in line to make that happen). We gotta take some trees down, I have to build the fence and repair/expand Luke's fort.

Logan just doesn't seem like a human name to me

He seemed to do OK with it.

I used to work in the building where the Carousel scenes were filmed.

That is a lot of projects!

I can't do it without running him ... over the cat's grave (and that just seems wrong).

Bay ate the ferns I planted over Logan and Zulu. Protocol and respect for the dead is not an animal instinct.

Smith and Wesson (as I had always imagined my next pair would be)?

How about Sturm and Ruger?

We have an "invisible fence" at our house. If the dog goes too near, he gets shocked. Means he has this whole big yard to roam in and we didn't have to put up a real fence. For us, it's good, Harry's too big to really put on a run. Plus he gets to play with the kids when they're out there.

What kind of dog is yours, anyway?
