Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Well, at least they can be said to love their cows.I don't think that could be said. The cows weren't well fed. Can't really say that their kids were either though.

Heh...I just said I had vacation plans and the man said "okay". Guess I'll have to go souvenir shopping, though. He brought me a ceramic cat from his Mexico trip.

Okay, this is my brothers:
Dave on the left, Mark on the right. Mark is the baby.
And here is a VEY cool photo. My uncle's wife found this baby deer after a flood came through last spring. They pulled it out of a flooded bar ditch near their house. He's their pet now. His name is John Deere.

It's a little ceramic cat - a reclining cat about an inch and a half long. It sits on my monitor at work. He also gave me a pot holder with cats on it.....I'm behind in the gift game....well I didget him a link that dodged the firewall filter to a radio station back home. :)

Thanks bunches for letting me use your tent. I used my sleeping bag a lot over the last 2 weeks so I washed it up today so it won't stink up your tent! :-)
Prayers will be going right along with ya'll till we get to see ya!

And you woulda been bug eyed watchin' it all! I would've liked that better than even this wedding reception... as the people-watching connoisseur that I am, Tim's stuffy family was, other than impeccably groomed and tailored, only worth about two stars for entertainment value. They didn't ~do~ anything.

My sister doesn't have a suit either. She's planning on just bringing an extra set of shorts and some dark T-shirts. ;) That's brilliant. I might have some shorts. Dunno....
WN, I'm taking six days off in the middle of three projects. My boss is ok with this, and ok with the revenue hit he's gonna take (I'm 100% billable and I cost the other companies more than I cost ours). But I might pull two long days, Monday and Wednesday, to make him happier.
Plus, I got this car payment to make next month ;-)

LOL!!! My mom will
always be impeccably groomed and tailored. And in front of others her manners will also be that way. But, get her with just us........ ROTFL!!!
And my dad.... he is entertainment value like you wouldn't believe!!! But, you can't laugh or he'll walk off all in a huff!

Plus, I got this car payment to make next month ;-) This part makes the list of things that matter. The others --- well.... uh.... all that work will still be there when ya get back. Just smile and forget 'em!
But, make sure you take care of the car payment!
BTW! I taught Myranda to drive my pickup. She did really well. But, freaked herself out when she squealed the tires in front of a bunch of other vehicles. She was at a stop sign on an uphill slope. I told her just give it a lot of gas and not worry about it. Clutch disengaged and we sounded like we had potential at the drag strip! I loved it. She was horrified! :-)

Wow! And I thought having my hens fighting for a nest box was drama! I caught snippets from MBY about what was going on, though...so although I wasn't quite sure where exactly you were at any given time, I kept you in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm glad you're home. Don't forget me during Entmoot...

hey homely!! You know come Friday you won't be able to call me that no more. They'll know the truth of just how devastatingly handsome I really am.

Oh!! Makes me feel not quite so silly toting warm water out to my girls first thing on freezing mornings! LOL
