The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
ecurbh

Posted on 12/11/2003 2:07:57 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Chapter XVIII: John Rhys-Davies
12/12/03, 4:16 pm EST - Xoanon

John Rhys-Davies at the ROTK Premiere

TORN Volunteers David Baxter and Galaphil were the lucky men with the microphone at the Los Angeles Premiere of 'The Return of the King' on December 3rd 2003. In this chapter David chats with the ever-delightful John Rhys-Davies who plays Gimli the Dwarf. John discusses his role as Gimli and the fondness for his fellow actors. He also answers an interesting question, would he be willing to play Gloin in a possible adaptation of 'The Hobbit'? [More]

I have the opposite feel for the extras! - I thought all the additions to FoTR felt natural and were great scenes... particularly the additions at Lothlorien and the gifts!

You should get the DVD! - I am still stunned that you had not seen these extended films yet.

Rose is more geared towards prose than poetry... lately I've been the more poetical one.

It probably has a lot to do with my feelings that FOTR was masterfully editted in the first place.

I am holding out for the "Trilogy Extended Pack". I am sure it will be out next Christmas. I have had a blast this week seeing the "new" movies, and now can't wait for next week.

Sounds like some of you guys are getting together for the Tuesday bash. Who's meeting and what city?

We have Texans getting together for movie-moots on premier night, not sure where... Some of us here in Washington are getting together in Olympia where I am for premier night...

Are there others getting together for movie-moots? - I can't recall them.

The travel and moot talk you hear about today is our major Entmoot in January in Florida..... we have more than 14-15 of us going to moot for a week! The Hobbit Hole : Entmoot '04

We aren't mooting in Texas until the 27th. In Austin at the Drafthouse. So pints will be served during the flick!

We want to moot in a BAD WAY, Hair...but there are problems and we're leaving it up to the Lord (and conniving ways to get around the situations) that are keeping us from mooting. I want her to spend the night with Steve and I, here! The boys are gonna be at my folks...we could visit all night!
