Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Haha. The only upside to potentially being refused by my graduate schools (I'm at the "I'm never gonna get in, I'm no good" phase of the process right now) is that I could have an apartment of my own by April.

You got the mildly-evil post number...I guess it was appropriate since the subject was serial killers and the Devil!!

Keep in mind that sometimes complimenting someone for doing a job correctly can be a VEY good thing.I agree completely!! It's always nice to be recognized for a job well done.

Eustatia Vye has always been one of my favorite literary characters.LOL! I couldn't STAND her!! I thought she was a whiny, simpering, manipulative woman!

Cool shot.

Well, sportsfans... my number came up tonight to report for Jury duty in the morning. Wahooo.
Not that I mind the Jury part. I'd actually enjoy that... it's just the part about getting into downtown Tacoma by 8:30am that really bites. Crummy timing for traffic. [sigh]. I am not a Morningramius.

Outstanding info about the knives! There definitely HAVE been instances of soldiers drowning because of their vehicles going into the water and their being stuck. I think that's how the NBC reporter died during the war. I'm sorry to say I can't remember his name, but I remember his face as he was riding on top of the transports across the desert. He was having the time of his life! Too bad it was cut short.
