The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I had an omelet. Everyone else had pancakes. I'm so good, it sickens me.
Church is a no-go... it's snowing too hard and there's one section where we'd never get through... so it's sit-home-watching-news day.

How about some
Marine wakeup music for this fine day.

Maybe we could give him to some Iraquis so they can drag him through the streets like they did his statue.I hope Saddam is singing like a canary. If he cooperates, he gets lifetime lodgings in a 6x6 concrete cell in the new gitmo supermax. Otherwise, he gets a five minute head start in Kirkuk.

I could go for that! As long as, if it's Kirkuk, it's televised.... oh, new reality show!

Church is gonna be a no go here too. We spent too much time watching the news this mornin. 'Tis a good thing there are other avenues to worship (church isn't the only option).

I need to go dig out the car. Then it's a shower before the game starts.

I'm just glad our choir wasn't singing today, since with me and my sister out, it would have been a little weak.
Now I just have to figure out work tomorrow. I might rearrange my schedule, do all day at the office, which is close, rather than split my day between the office and the client site, which is a long way off...

Sauron of Baghdad?
To: Professional Engineer
LOL. He fashioned himself the modern day Nebuchadnezzar, according the news. Sauron of Baghdad, indeed. That would be a title of honor to him.

Thank you Jen!
We are up again. We actually managed to go back to sleep this morning after ponies.... a really good step toward switchin' that sleep schedule around!
But now we are up for the president in a little while.
sippin' coffee!

Is it just me, or is everyone having trouble reading and posting? I am thinking, now that everyone is awake and has heard the news, that FR is getting overloaded a bit.
