Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

It's the Dalmatian part...most obsessive creatures on earth. They all have different obsessions, but they've all got 'em.

I got quick on the trigger during The Meltdown. JimRob, being omniscient, caught on, and asked me to pick one or the other.
What tickets didja get. .

You've got it. That's why people keep buying bigger houses, to stash the bill stubs in.

Yup!!
How are you?

I think you are right about Dalmations being eccentric.... but she actually learned this behavior from Logan. Logan actually did come from relative neglect at a big show kennel, and would lick his paws too when he was nervous or abandoned....
Gidget actually used to lick his wounds for him, which was not helpful.

Lima beans? I'd rather eat soap. Wait lima beans are soap.

Doing well, ladies!!
Spent the day getting my truck fixed. Had to get done since I'm driving ol' Betsy to Entmoot in a few weeks! I got the shocks and front brakes replaced, tires rotated and aligned and all that's left is an oil change, but that'll happen just before the trip. :-)
Watched TTT:EE last night with my sister, but I don't think anyone was paying much attention besides me anyway. I always watch the movies with subtitles. That way, I never miss a word they say! LOL!!
In other news, Rebecca got her ears pierced today! My little girl is growing up! CZ studs with gold posts....she's thinkin' she's the cat's meow! *grin*

Any food requests? I'm doing okay. Here caring for the sick and the infirmed.
Good news is that Luke is sitting up. He's had some cheese balls, a couple of bites of chicken and half a banana. It's the most he's eaten in three days.
To: RMDupree
Awwww. Becky's ears pierced! We will need pictures soon!
Good thing on the truck. Glad to know you'll be ready for the trip. We want you to make it as safe and sound as possible!
I'll watch TTT EE with ya and pay attention! well... try to pay attention... do you think we'll pay attention to movies at entmoot ... or talk? You don't have enough TIME there!!!
To: Corin Stormhands
Good that Luke ate a little. That'll keep him nourished for the week!
To: HairOfTheDog
Oh - but now you have a newbie date! I thought of that as well. That's what "I was David Bowman Prof Engineer" is about. I guess I could just call myself a DU'er.
To: Wneighbor
Gandalf just showed back up.
I had to stop and watch "Rudolph" with Luke.
To: JenB
Sorry to hear you're not feeling too hot, JenB! Throw a blanket in the clothes dryer to warm and fix yourself a nice hot cup of tea with honey. Then, snuggle up with the warm blanket while drinking your tea. Take 2 Ibuprofin with your tea and you'll be feelin' fine in no time!
And I can totally relate as to the ROTK viewwers frustrations! That Wednesday, I have 3 new payrolls to run and the companies don't have to turn them in until noon cut-off, so there's no way I'll make the 1 o'clock show. The next show after that isn't until 5:15pm, so the traffic will kill me getting to the theatre.
I really wanted to minimoot with Sam Cree on opening day, but it isn't looking good. :-(
This new job is terrific and I ain't complaining, but it sure isn't as wonderful as my last job was. Nothin' ever will be.
