We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Sad, but true, the United States Supreme Court upheld the Campaign Finance Act of 2001 (somehow, it seems, raising money falls under the "conduct of elections" that is under the auspices of Congress). Regarding the 2004 race, Republicans have been taking a lot of time building up their coffers early, so analysts believe for this race, the fund-raising aspects of the law will likely not hurt the GOP. That said, the speech limitation aspects give the Criminal Party a huge advantage going into the last two months of the campaign as the only non-muzzled element, or so it seems, is the media. And polling data shows about 90% of the members of that "esteemed" organization are members or relate to the Criminal Party...
Over 4,000 people took to the streets in Baghdad in a grass-roots demonstration against terrorism.
President Bush's advisors begin focusing on a race next year against Howard Dean.
The United States has stated that priority in Iraqi contracts will go to firms that belong to countries that aided the war effort. The European Union is steamed. The latter says it will protest, if the United States actually goes through with what it says, to the World Trade Court.
Finally, in an article carried by the AP, it turns out that human beings have not been responsible for global warming in the 20th and 21st centuries. Or, at least, it is not limited to that. No, our global crime, it turns out, is far more serious than that. A professor emeritus at the University of Virginia, wrote an article that will appear in December's Climatic Change, that claims humans have been responsible for global warming since the dawn of agriculture some 8,000 years ago. The moment we began clearing forests to plant crops, claims the professor, humans began altering the environment and caused carbon dioxide levels to increase. The professor did not explain, however, how there would come to be forests in Iraq, the birthplace of agriculture, which does not carry enough water for large stands of trees. Maybe, one might guess, he presumes all the trees have been cut down?

Well, Well, Well, Happy birthday lady, many more to you and you be good on your birthday.
Will someone please tell me what has gotten into Rush since he has come back to the airways? He is doing nothing but 'Bush Bashing'. Could it be he WANTS Bush defeated? If a Democratic were elected he would have another platform for his radio show as he had with Clinton. I listen to his just a little while while up on the farm but switched him off. And let me tell you, I sure was not pleased with his slanted off color remarks yesterday. I learned a long time ago that when you think you have the world by the whatever, it tuns on you and bites you in the rear. He had better cool it and for my feelings, get off the president.
Old Algorebore is having the table turned on him huh? By him throwing Lie-ber-man to the dogs he has shown what kind of a man he really is, looking out for himself. Algorebore sure is a bitter man. HE wants to be the 'bossman' of the democrats, take it away from the Clintons. I vote no, the longer the clintons are the head folks in charge more of their party will not be re elected.
Talking about Clinton, the Witch Clinton, ever see the politickings follow her around? It is like a puppy dog following their master, Shummer comes to mind and that poor fellow on her leash while she was in Iraq was laughable. I am still laughing how OUR President W smoked her with his trip. I would have loved to have seen the fit she threw.
Oh, forgot. A GOOD P.M. TO ONE AND ALL FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!! I took off early to transplant some more trees and just got in.
Don't forget to say a prayer for OUR President W and for our troops. Have a good day. Toby

Hi Toby.. I was just listening to Rush & he was all oversomeone for being anti American & anti Bush..
I didn't listen once while in OK so not sure what all has been on.
Any other impressions?
I know he is against some of the more liberal "spending" things that have been going on

In the
WOO HOO - YOU ROCK MR. PRESIDENT cateogry...
Bush defends restrictions on Iraqi contracts
President says contracts to rebuild Iraq should go to those who helped defeat Saddam.
France, Russia, and others say this violates international law.
From the article...
Asked whether the exclusion of those countries from bidding on construction contracts violates international law, Bush said, "I don't know what you're talking about by international law. I better consult my lawyer."
YES!!

The case is now being considered a fatality. And that means this girl's life - because it was hit and run - as she knew it is now totally over.
To: gulfcoast6
Toby, I just had to give a witness statement in that hit-and-run I saw yesterday. It is now being considered a fatality and the officer was very nice. I told him how kind and professional the police were last night.
What a tragedy.
To: Miss Marple
And my prayers, again, for you. And also for the family members of the deceased.
To: Chairman_December_19th_Society
I also gave him my daughter's phone number to ask her about seeing the car at the gas station. He was interested because so far there has been no information about anyone else in the car.
To: Miss Marple
Oh my, I am so sorry.

Thanks for the link. I just can not understand the thinking of these school teachers/administrators. They display such clear bias towards Christians.

How horrible for the poor family and you. Prayers lifted, once again..
To: Miss Marple

Look at #67. Yahoo!!!
To: Miss Marple
You have no idea how that makes a policeman feel when he hears this kind of statement, so often we were (are) told how sorry we were. I have to laugh though, once a drunk said to me 'you know you are paid by the taxpayers don't you'? I told him yes and he said 'I am a tax payer so you are fired'.
